Now Seeking:

Summer Intern/Associate

Lyme Properties is seeking a College Summer Intern to assist with events, projects, marketing, and general needs around the office and our Upper Valley projects (River Park, Wilder Center, Friends of River Park, WestLeb.org, West Lebanon Greenway, and more). Great opportunity for a mix of outside summer work, and an in-depth look at the world of local real estate development.

We’re looking for an intern who is comfortable stepping into a small, fast-paced environment and willing to play a “utility infielder” role where they’ll get exposure to every aspect of the business.

Lyme Properties is nationally known for excellence in urban design, green buildings, and adaptive re-use with a portfolio of mixed-use projects that have established pioneering standards for architecture, land-use, and conservation. We focus on the master planning, permitting, and execution of transformative real estate projects, grounded in a philosophy of community-conscious development. We’re real estate developers by trade, but we’re urban planners, designers, environmentalists, entrepreneurs, comedians, and community advocates by training. Our work often extends beyond the boundaries of our own developments as we seek to maximize triple-bottom-line value.

Here are some of the things you’ll be exposed to over the course of the Summer, with the exact role and opportunities dependent upon your skills & interests, and our needs and priorities as the year progresses.

  • Take ownership of Trails + Trucks at River Park, the Sunday Food Truck & Trails event series. Coordinate vendors, ensure events run smoothly, and gain experience on everything from marketing to compliance paperwork.

  • Coordinate the UVTA Summer Trail Crew work to expand and improve the trails at River Park.

  • Assist with leasing efforts at River Park.

  • Track local efforts against State and Federal opportunities to seek funding for infrastructure, transportation, and recreational improvements.

  • Tackle pro forma analysis of development opportunities in West Lebanon, the Upper Valley, and elsewhere.
